The Objective

The goal of Cosmic Heart is to collect as many points as possible by clearing all the orbs from the game board. Points are awarded for each orb cleared, and additional points are earned for clearing consecutive sets of orbs. The game ends when an orb falls off the bottom of the screen.

Playing the Game

To clear an orb, touch it. Orbs can be cleared in any order, but clearing a set of consecutive or matching orbs will earn you bonus points. When you clear an orb, it will reappear at the top of the screen. If an orb falls off the bottom of the screen, the game is over.

Consecutive Orbs

Clearing three or more consecutive orbs in a row will earn you bonus points. The number of bonus points awarded increases with each set of consecutive orbs cleared. For example, clearing four contiguous orbs awards 4 points, 5 points for 5 contiguous orbs, and so on. Note that this bonus only applies to adjacent orbs; cleared orbs that are not touching do not count towards this bonus.

Matching Orbs

If two or more spheres of the same color are touching each other, they will disappear and you will earn bonus points. The number of bonus points awarded depends on how many spheres are matched. For two spheres, you earn 1 point; for three spheres, 3 points; for four spheres, 6 points; and for five or more spheres, 10 points. Note that this bonus does not apply to consecutive matches; only matched pairs will count towards this bonus.
